Built to be trusted with money

  • Balances that always add up

    Every change to a wallet writes a line in a ledger, and only the database itself can write one. Nothing can quietly edit a balance.

    Integer cents · changed only inside SQL functions · the app server can't touch a wallet

  • No fake payments

    A payment notice never credits anyone by itself. The store checks with the provider directly before it adds money or delivers an order.

    Callbacks are wake-ups only · every credit is re-verified with the provider

  • Nobody is charged twice

    Double taps, retries and repeated notifications can't charge or credit twice. Every order happens exactly once.

    Idempotent orders and top-ups · one unique key per operation

About

Most engineers live in one layer. I work across all of them.

I'm an informatics engineer from Aleppo. I started out diagnosing motherboards and running office networks, and the habit stuck: I still think about the machine underneath the software.

Today that means I can take a project from an idea to a store taking real money — the schema, the ledger, the bot that talks to suppliers, the edge in front of it and the deployment that keeps it up. One accountable person, from brief to production.

I still look after the hardware too: servers, networks and camera systems, IT support, clean installs and security hardening.
